At 16th October 2011, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will start his district-level day-long fasts from Dwarka Jamnagar which is inspired by the success of his 3-day Sadbhavna fast in Ahmedabad between September 17 and 19.
Narendra Modi had announced that he will observe district-level fast in the state as part of his Sadbhavna Mission.
As per Latest Jaynarayan Vyas and Saurabh Patel Interviews, they said that, The CM would fast for a day each in all 26 districts and eight municipal corporation areas of the state as part of his Sadbhavna Mission.
"The district-level fasts, which are inspired by the success of CM's three-day Sadbhavna fast in Ahmedabad, will begin from Dwarka on October 16.
The idea is to spread further the message of the Mission, i.e. unity, peace and harmony."
The spokespersons said that people from different segments of the society were keen to take part in the public fast along with the chief minister.
